It’s a typical british April day today, mainly grey with a biting wind and keeping most people with common sense inside. So I’ve decided it’s a good day to finish off a couple of bits that need finishing.
The blue and silver on the left is the rest of my blue and silver thick and thin that needed plying now the silver has arrived. The two matching bobbins on the right are going to be turned in to a light weight two ply that is going to For The Love of Yarn for her London attacks charity competition (I will add further details once they have been released).
The fibre is 100% merino from Wingham Wool Works and has made a beautiful rainbow. I’ve spun straight from the roving and allowed the colours to candy cane where they meet and it has create a lovely multi rainbow effect. I can’t wait to see it finished.
